Job Description
Month-End Financial Closing
Perform the month-end closing process, ensuring all financial transactions including revenues, costs, accruals, prepayment amortizations, and fixed asset depreciations are accurately recorded.
Financial Performance Analysis
Prepare, analyze, and report financial performance against key business metrics; assess accounting data to evaluate profitability, budget adherence, and operational efficiency.
Management Support
Engage with company financial activities to support management in making informed financial decisions through accurate reporting and financial analysis.
Support in product development by ensuring that products are adherent to accounting standards.
Collaboration on Billing and Reconciliations
Coordinate with finance colleagues handling billings, payments, revenue reconciliations, and general ledger analysis to ensure billing and collection schedules are met and vendor terms optimized.
Cross-Functional Liaison
Work closely with department heads and other teams to prepare business review documents and project-related financial reports; address queries on financial reporting and analysis matters.
Budgeting and Forecasting
Assist in preparing budgets and regular financial forecasts in line with company requirements.
External Audit Support
Prepare the audited financial statement and ensure that all financial data are accurate and complies with statutory and regulatory standards in all material respect.
Ad-Hoc Financial Reporting and Analysis
Drive the preparation of finance-related ad-hoc reports and analyses for internal management and external stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree / 4-Year Course Graduate (Accounting or Finance)
3-5 years of relevant experience
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statement preparation, and analysis techniques.
Proficient in month-end close processes, accrual accounting, fixed asset management, and budgeting/forecasting.
Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and independently manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication skills, able to clearly explain financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Experience working with ERP and accounting systems; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and proactive problem-solving attitude.
