Finance Associate - Tax

What You’ll Do

• Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns and their attachments.
• Prepare reconciliation schedules and supporting documentation during tax audits.
• Liaise with tax authorities on tax matters and tax audits.
• Support Finance Asst. Manager - Tax in ongoing tax projects and initiating tax strategies for more efficient and accurate reporting
• Initiate improvement ideas based on current process to ensure consistent compliance with tax laws Prompt escalation of errors/inefficiencies as may be noted and provide recommendations.
• Reconcile tax GL accounts for financial statement reporting.
• Assist internal and external stakeholders in tax queries.
• Keep abreast of BIR tax updates affecting current tax reporting and processes.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelors/College Degree in Accountancy
• Required Skill(s): mathematical, analytical, reporting, computing
• With 2 or more years of experience in Taxation
• Ability to work independently, self- motivation and reliability
• Must be willing to work in the Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX)
