Finance Analyst

Podean is a leading marketplace agency helping brands accelerate growth across Amazon, Walmart, Target, TikTok Shop, and other digital commerce platforms. We combine strategic expertise, data-driven insights, and creative innovation to deliver measurable business outcomes for our clients.

We are seeking an experienced Finance Analyst from the Philippines, to join the growing global finance team handling Podean entities in the USA, Australia, Europe, Middle-East, North Africa, Mexico, and Brazil. The role will be a critical component of day-to-day accounting and financial processes, helping us deliver accurate, complete, and timely financial reports.

What Youll Do

• Prepare, clean, and post day-to-day journal entries for various transactions, including accruals and adjustments.
• Ensure the general ledger is maintained, updated, and accurate.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Assisting FP&A with granular and financial statement inquiries.
• Draft and send invoices to clients and/or draft bills received from vendors.
• Consolidation & sending of documents (invoices/payment proof/bank statement).
• Support the integration of systems, processes, and reporting structures.
  
  

• Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Finance, or any equivalent courses and has experience working on US GAAP. CPA title is a plus.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, preferably with experience in external and/or internal audit, or an accounting firm
• Has experience in using accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, and Zoho.
• Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets expertise
• Familiar with all Microsoft Office applications and the Google Workspace
• Ability to dissect and comprehend legal agreements between Podean and an external entity, whether clients or vendors.
• Can reconcile external documentation and company records to ensure that transactions match and resolve any discrepancies.
• Can make adjustments as needed, including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation entries.
• Has experience in intercompany reconciliation.
• Can comprehend essential financial statements like the profit and loss statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows.
