Facilities Associate

Job Description

• Project Management:
• Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of facilities projects including renovations, infrastructure upgrades, and equipment installations.
• Develop detailed project scopes, timelines, budgets, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (IT, HR, Operations) and external vendors to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Track progress, manage budgets, and report status updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure all projects meet compliance, safety, and quality standards.
• Facilities Operations & Maintenance:
• Oversee the daily operation of building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire/life safety.
• Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Support space planning, occupancy tracking, and workplace optimization.
• Safety & Compliance:
• Ensure full compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
• Act as a key contributor to the organization’s emergency preparedness and safety initiatives.
• Safety Officer certification or related training is a plus.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of facilities management experience, preferably in a large-scale corporate setting (1,500–2,500 employees).
• Demonstrated expertise in project management—from development through execution—within facilities environments.
• Project Management certification is highly preferred.
• Strong technical understanding of building systems, BMS and infrastructure.
• Safety training or certifications (e.g., BOSH and/or COSH) are a strong advantage.
• Ability to develop and implement policies, procedures and programs.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
