What You’ll Do
Develop, customize, and extend Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions using AL and Visual Studio Code to meet business and technical requirements.
Design and implement technical solutions based on functional specifications provided by consultants or clients.
Build integrations between Business Central and external systems using APIs, web services, and middleware (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps).
Collaborate closely with functional consultants and project teams to ensure technical feasibility, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.
Perform data migrations using configuration packages, APIs, and data exchange definitions
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in BC customizations, upgrades, or integrations
Participate in Agile project delivery using tools such as Azure DevOps for work tracking, source control, and deployment pipelines.
Maintain, refactor, and enhance existing custom code, extensions, and ISV add-ons to ensure long-term solution stability.
Contribute to testing, UAT support, and go-live readiness activities.
Document technical specifications, code, and deployment processes.
Stay current with Microsoft BC roadmap updates and industry best practices.
Key Criteria
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Solid hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central (Cloud and/or On-Premise).
Strong development skills using AL and the Business Central extension model.
Experience with API integrations, including REST/OData endpoints, JSON/XML handling, and authentication methods (OAuth, Basic Auth).
Familiarity with Azure-based services like Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Service Bus for integrations.
Understanding of core Business Central modules such as Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, and Manufacturing.
Experience with data migration, configuration packages, and custom data imports/exports.
Proficient in Azure DevOps, including version control (Git), pipelines, and agile work item management.
Microsoft certifications (e.g., MB-820, MB-800, Business Central or Dynamics NAV) is highly preferred.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with functional teams.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on quality and performance.
Excellent communication skills, especially in a remote and client-facing setting.
Work setup:
Manila (BGC, Taguig): Australian hours (6:00am–3:00pm PHT) with a hybrid setup (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
