Role Overview
The Country HRBP / HR Head serves as the senior HR leader for the Philippines organization, partnering closely with country and global business leaders to drive organizational effectiveness, talent strategies, workforce planning, employee engagement, and culture initiatives.
This role is responsible for end-to-end HR outcomes at the site, ensuring alignment of HR programs with business priorities while maintaining compliance with Philippine labor laws and corporate policies. As a key member of the global HR organization, this role plays a critical part in supporting business growth, transformation, and building a high-performing and inclusive culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Business Partnership
- Partner with country and global leadership teams to develop and execute people strategies aligned with business objectives
- Act as a trusted advisor and coach to senior leaders on organization design, workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, and change management
- Translate business priorities into actionable HR initiatives and solutions
- Build strong partnerships across global HR functions.
- Talent & Organization Development
- Lead talent review, succession planning, and leadership development processes
- Drive performance management and calibration processes across the organization.
- Support career development and internal mobility initiatives.
- Identify organizational capability gaps and implement development solutions.
- Strengthen leadership bench and organizational capabilities.
- Workforce Planning & Talent Acquisition
- Partner with Talent Acquisition teams to develop and execute hiring strategies across engineering, R&D, operations, and corporate functions
- Monitor workforce trends, hiring effectiveness, and critical talent availability
- Support workforce planning and organization scaling to enable business growth
- Employee Relations & Compliance
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters, investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies.
- Manage employee grievances and sensitive workplace issues.
- Partner with legal teams on employment-related matters when required.
- Compensation & Rewards
- Partner with Compensation teams on salary planning, market competitiveness, and reward programs
- Support annual compensation review and incentive planning processes
- Culture, Engagement & Change
- Develop and execute site engagement and recognition programs
- Lead internal and external organizational communication, promote key messages, agenda and organizational culture.
- Lead organizational change initiatives including restructuring, business transformations, and growth projects.
- Support leaders through periods of organizational change and business evolution.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR or related discipline
- 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including strong HRBP or HR leadership roles
- Proven experience supporting engineering, semiconductor, R&D, or technology-driven organizations
- Solid experience partnering with senior/executive leaders in complex and fast-paced environments
- Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR practices
- Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and transformation initiatives
- High level of executive presence, communication, and presentation skills

- Strong business acumen and data-driven decision-making capability
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across all levels
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, drive change, and operate effectively in a global matrix
