What role will you play?

You will provide front-line support for Financial Market applications by managing incidents and changes using ITSM tools, as well as oversee and monitor the Control-M job scheduling system to ensure jobs run on time, quickly troubleshooting any issues. Working with cross-functional teams, you will set job scheduling requirements that meet business needs and automate repetitive tasks by developing basic scripts to improve efficiency.

Your responsibilities also include performing regular maintenance such as job cleanup and system updates, offering technical support to users for job scheduling and scripting questions, and documenting processes and solutions for easy reference and knowledge sharing. Additionally, you will leverage Artificial Intelligence tools to boost DevOps productivity.

What You Offer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field
  • 3–5 years’ experience in ITSM with proficiency in ITSM tools (Helix) and ITIL processes
  • Hands-on expertise in DevOps, incident management, root cause analysis, production support and application performance optimisation/automation
  • Proven experience with Control-M job scheduling in production environments
  • Proficient in scripting languages (Shell, Python) and basic SQL
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, detail-oriented, organised and able to manage multiple priorities.

Note: This role may require working Sydney business hours during the end of months, quarters and years for reporting.
