Development Operations Engineer Sr

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Manila team. This role focuses on automating and operating AWS cloud deployments for the MRM/OCM products. You will collaborate closely with CloudOps teams in the US, development teams in Sydney and India, and other cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has a strong "can-do" attitude, enjoys learning new technologies, and is capable of documenting complex architectures clearly. You will be hands-on in infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and operational support through modern DevOps tooling.

A Day in the Life Typically Includes:

Cloud & Infrastructure Automation
1. Build, maintain, and improve AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform or similar tools.
2. Design and automate deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or equivalent.
3. Implement infrastructure-as-code best practices, including modularization, naming conventions, and versioning.
4. Automate environment provisioning, configuration, patching, and observability.

Operations & Support
1. Work closely with CloudOps teams in the US on production support, incident resolution, change management, and operational improvements.
2. Perform environment upgrades, scaling, monitoring, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
3. Troubleshoot deployment/infrastructure issues across Windows and Linux environments.

Collaboration & Documentation
1. Collaborate daily with developers across Sydney and India to support releases and improve automation.
2. Produce clear architecture and environment documentation, runbooks, and deployment guides.
3. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to planning and continuous improvement.

What You Will Need?
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical
1. 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation.
2. Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ALB/ELB, VPC, SNS/SQS, etc.).
3. Strong experience in Terraform or other tools.
4. Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
5. Proficiency in scripting with Python, PowerShell, or Shell Script.
6. Good understanding of networking, security groups, firewalls, VPC networking, SSL/TLS, DNS, IAM security best practices.
7. Experience working on both Linux and Windows servers.

2. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

4. Ability to learn new tools, frameworks, and technologies quickly.

Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience with Docker, containerization, or ECS/EKS.
2. Knowledge of monitoring tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Kafka/Grafana.
3. Experience with security scanning, compliance tools, or automated QA.
4. Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
5. Familiarity with .NET/Java applications, IIS, Tomcat, or web application deployments

Work Setup Requirement: This role follows a hybrid work arrangement, requiring onsite presence three times per week.
