The duties of this role are focused on development and support of Concur Compleat, an automation platform that streamlines, manages, and customizes processes for Travel Management Companies (TMCs).
The ideal candidate will have experience designing and developing Compleat functions with Compleat and a comprehensive understanding of TMC operations and be able to perform research, problem resolution, system maintenance, process testing, and clear written communications. This individual must work with minimal instruction and oversight, delivering high-quality outputs in a dynamic environment with overlapping deadlines and tight time constraints. This role provides a hybrid workspace opportunity to work in the local office a minimum of three (3) days per week.
What You'll Do
- Create new and maintain existing Compleat functions as assigned by team leadership
- Design and implement API integrations to enhance Compleat functionality and streamline travel workflows
- Use available, pre-approved AI tools to enhance code quality, accelerate development cycles, and improve problem-solving
- Research and respond to support requests from internal customers (support tickets and change requests)
- Thoroughly test and document functionality to ensure high quality performance and maintainability
- Liaise with other teams and departments to address issues or gaps impacting Compleat functionality (client-specific requirements, enterprise projects, etc.)
- Maintain a strong understanding of all applicable Compleat functions, workflows, and system integrations
- Attend and/or lead relevant meetings and conference calls
- Monitor and advise team leadership of potential roadblocks, issues, and technical challenges
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in the travel industry, preferably in a travel agency or corporate travel management company
- 3+ years of development experience with Compleat or a similar travel agency automation platform
- 3+ years of hands-on experience using GDS systems, specifically Sabre
- Strong prioritization, time management, decision-making, and creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Flexibility to work at least half of a scheduled shift to coincide with US business hours (Central time zone)
Preferred Additional Qualifications:
- Experience implementing APIs in conjunction with Compleat functions
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to enhance code quality, accelerate development cycles, and improve problem-solving
- Experience converting or modernizing legacy travel systems
- Experience with or understanding of NDC (New Distribution Capabilities) within the travel industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio
- Experience using issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, FreshService, etc.)
- Experience with other GDS platforms (TravelPort, Amadeus)
