Description

The Associate Development Business Analyst will be part of the product development team supporting the Infor CLM and MFS products. This role will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Senior Business Analysts, Software Engineers, Quality Assurance Engineers, and business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, document business needs, clarify functional requirements, support product delivery, and drive continuous process improvements.

A Typical Day In The Life Includes

Requirements Gathering & Analysis

  • Assist in eliciting business requirements through meetings, workshops, interviews, and discussions with stakeholders.
  • Document business requirements, user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure requirements are clear, complete, testable, and aligned to business objectives.
  • Maintain requirement traceability throughout the development lifecycle.

Product Development Support

  • Support Product Owners and Senior Business Analysts in backlog refinement activities.
  • Help prioritize and organize requirements within Jira or similar backlog management tools.
  • Clarify requirements and resolve questions raised by development and QA teams.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.

Documentation & Communication

  • Create and maintain business documentation including, user stories, business requirements documents (BRDs), process flows, functional specifications, knowledge base articles, and release documentation
  • Document decisions, assumptions, risks, and action items from stakeholder discussions.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Testing & Validation

  • Support functional testing and user acceptance testing activities.
  • Validate that delivered solutions meet approved requirements.
  • Assist with defect triage and resolution discussions.
  • Coordinate stakeholder reviews and sign-offs where required.

Product & Domain Knowledge Development

  • Develop working knowledge of ERP systems, business processes, company products and solutions, and industry best practices
  • Build subject matter expertise within assigned domains and products.
  • Participate in training and self-development activities.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve business analysis practices, documentation standards, and team processes.
  • Contribute ideas that improve team efficiency, delivery quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Leverage Kiro-AI and modern productivity tools to improve BA effectiveness.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 0-1 year of experience in IT Business Analysis or Project Management
  • For fresh graduates: Internship experience involving business analysis, requirements gathering, process improvement, or project coordination.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex information and identify effective solutions.
  • Ability to organize, document, and present information clearly and logically.
  • Demonstrated willingness and aptitude to learn new technologies, business processes, and industry concepts.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Understanding of software development principles and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Agile/Scrum frameworks, and process modeling tools.
  • Exposure to or understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Experience creating technical documentation.
