About The Opportunity
The Deal Analyst Sr. provides strategic deal support to Dayforce’s Sales organization through financial and operational consultation that drives profitable growth. You will be empowered and accountable for managing complex deal structures end-to-end, ensuring compliance with financial controls while enabling sales success.
This highly visible role partners closely with Finance, Sales, Legal, Services, and Product teams to structure scalable, compliant, and competitive commercial agreements. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong business acumen, and delivers high-quality outcomes under tight deadlines.
What Youll Get To Do
- Partner with Sales and cross-functional teams to structure and support complex and non-standard deals, ensuring operational feasibility and scalability
- Apply structured problem-solving approaches to develop deal recommendations that align with Delegation of Authority (DOA) guidelines, ensuring compliance with discounting, contracting, revenue recognition, and accurate ACV reporting.
- Partner with Sales and cross-functional teams to structure and support complex and non-standard deals, ensuring operational feasibility and scalability
- Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment and ensure a smooth, efficient transition from Sales through Implementation.
- Prepare manual documentation and system updates when automated configuration tools cannot be leveraged.
- Provide Revenue Cloud configuration support for quoting and contracting to the commercial organization.
- Identify process gaps, recommend scalable improvements, and translate business needs into actionable requirements
- Support testing of Revenue Cloud quoting and contracting configuration releases, ensuring products are accurately configured and priced to enable efficient seller quoting.
- Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure consistent, repeatable execution.
Skills And Experience We Value
- Must have experience with Salesforce.com and quoting tools (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, or similar platforms).
- Background in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, or Commercial Finance.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex deals simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across Sales, Finance, Legal, Services, and Product organizations.
- High degree of accountability, organization, and attention to detail.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Adaptable and comfortable navigating change.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
