DATA SCIENCE OFFICER

Job Summary

The Data Science Officer is responsible for developing analytical models and delivering data-driven solutions using statistical analysis, machine learning, and advanced analytics. The role applies data science methodologies to solve complex business problems and generate actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement analytical models using statistical analysis, machine learning, and advanced analytics techniques
• Perform exploratory data analysis, data mining, and quantitative analysis including forecasting, optimization, segmentation, and predictive modeling
• Build, deploy, and support analytical models using cloud-based tools and platforms, including AWS services
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and support end-to-end project delivery
• Prepare data visualizations, analytical reports, and presentations to communicate insights and model outputs to stakeholders
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 2 to 4 years of experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, or related analytical roles
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL, with experience in data visualization and analytical reporting tools
• Solid understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning concepts, and data science methodologies
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, preferably with experience in cloud-based analytics tools and exposure to the banking or financial services industry
