Data Science - Internship

About the Program

The Data Science Internship Program is a comprehensive and full-time program designed to

equip aspiring data scientists with practical, end-to-end experience in solving real-world

operational challenges. Over the course of three months, interns will develop foundational and

advanced data science skills, collaborate in a team-oriented environment, and deliver a

meaningful capstone project.

This program balances structured learning, self-paced coursework, collaborative projects, and

direct mentorship to ensure each intern not only builds strong technical proficiency but also

cultivates the mindset and culture essential for high-performing teams.

Upon successfully completing the coursework and requirements of the program, exceptional

interns may be offered a full-time position within our organization.

About you

We are looking for recent graduates or career changers with a solid foundation in programming

and core data concepts, as well as a strong eagerness to learn.

This program is for you if you possess the following:

Educational Background: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data

Science, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or any related field.

Coding Experience: Hands-on experience applying code to real data. These can be via

academic projects, hackathons, personal projects, or other internships.

Technical Skills:

o Proficient in Python and pandas for scripting, data cleaning, and filtering

o Familiar with building basic machine learning models (e.g. linear regression,

decision tree, or k-means) using scikit-learn

o Able to create effective visualizations using tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or

Plotly

o Familiar with version control via Git

Portfolio Projects: You have a portfolio of your projects uploaded to Github (or

equivalent) with Jupyter Notebooks, data visualizations, or mini-projects demonstrating

your data science skills.

Growth Mindset: You are eager to learn, you ask questions, you try new tools, and you

collaborate openly.

Communication: You have clear verbal and written skills and you are able to explain

technical work to different audiences.
