Your Role

As a Data Analyst, you will:

• Partner with Finance, Sales, Operations, Marketing, and other teams to define key metrics, business questions, and reporting requirements.
• Facilitate discovery sessions to understand business needs, pain points, success measures, and opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights.
• Collaborate with the Power BI Developer to build analytical models, dashboards, and datasets.
• Support KPI documentation, metric governance, data validation, and the development of trusted reporting and analytics.
• Present insights through effective data storytelling and dashboard reviews.
• Support teams in adopting self-service analytics tools and using data to make informed decisions.
  
  

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related fields.
• Experience with modern BI tools, preferably Power BI.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational datasets.
• Strong understanding of KPIs and performance measurement.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex findings into clear business insights.
  
  

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Experience working with Power BI semantic models and reporting layers.
• Exposure to Medallion Architecture, particularly Silver and Gold data layers.
• Experience in KPI documentation, metric governance, and data quality initiatives.
• Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Google Data Analytics, or similar certifications.
• Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops, discovery sessions, or analytics enablement activities.
