What We’re Looking For

As a Company Nurse, you will be responsible for providing healthcare services to employees within the company. Your primary role will be to promote and maintain the health and well-being of employees, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment conducive to productivity. You will collaborate with other departments to implement health and wellness programs, manage medical emergencies, and provide health education and counseling to employees.

What You’ll Accomplish

  • Provide first aid and medical assistance to employees in case of injuries, illnesses, or emergencies occurring within the workplace.
  • Conduct regular health assessments, screenings, and vaccinations to promote preventive healthcare among employees.
  • Maintain accurate medical records of employees health information and ensure confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR to implement health promotion programs, including wellness initiatives, fitness activities, and stress management programs.
  • Administer and manage the companys employee health benefits, including medical insurance claims and health-related reimbursements.
  • Conduct health education sessions and workshops to increase employees awareness of health-related issues and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Monitor workplace environmental factors that may affect employee health and safety, such as ergonomic concerns or exposure to hazardous substances.
  • Coordinate with external healthcare providers, hospitals, and clinics for specialized medical services or referrals as needed.
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate care until further medical assistance arrives.
  • Stay updated on current healthcare practices, regulations, and industry trends relevant to occupational health and safety.

Year One Deliverables

  • Implement a Health Promotion and Wellness Program
  • Develop a health promotion and wellness program that addresses common workplace health concerns, such as stress, musculoskeletal disorders, and substance abuse.
  • Organize health education workshops and screenings.
  • Promote a healthy work environment by encouraging physical activity, healthy eating, and stress management techniques.

About You

  • Bachelors degree in Nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
  • Proven experience working as a nurse in a clinical or occupational health setting, preferably in a corporate environment or BPO industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and make quick and sound decisions during emergencies.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining medical records and documentation.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings (graveyard shifts) and weekends, as needed.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality in handling sensitive medical information.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in a specific industry (BPO and Healthcare Industry)
  • Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., Certified Occupational Health Specialist (COHS), Certified Safety Professional (CSP))
  • Experience in emergency response.
  • Knowledge of ergonomics and human factors
  • Experience in health promotion and wellness programs
