What does a CGI Artist do at WPP Production?

You will be responsible for producing visually compelling work that meets both creative and business objectives, with a strong focus on 3D animation, storytelling, and visual fidelity

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full CGI production pipeline, from concept development, storyboarding, and pre-visualization through modeling, texturing, animation, lighting, rendering, and final output
• Create high-quality 3D animations for marketing, branding, product visualization, commercials, film, or digital experiences
• Collaborate directly with clients to understand briefs, present concepts, gather feedback, and deliver creative solutions aligned to their vision
• Partner with creative directors, designers, and producers to ensure creative consistency and technical excellence
• Translate complex or abstract ideas into clear, engaging visual narratives
• Iterate efficiently based on client and internal feedback while maintaining quality and deadlines
• Ensure adherence to brand guidelines, technical specifications, and project requirements
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging tools, and new CGI/3D animation techniques
  
  

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as a CGI Artist, 3D Artist, or 3D Animator with a strong portfolio showcasing high-quality animation work
• Strong 3D animation expertise, including timing, motion, physics, and visual storytelling
• High proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Cinema 4D, Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, or similar
• Solid understanding of modeling, texturing, lighting, shading, rendering, and compositing
• Experience working across the full creative lifecycle, from concept to final delivery
• Comfortable in client-facing roles, including presenting work and incorporating feedback professionally
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail with a strong aesthetic sensibility
