We are seeking a Cardiac Care Virtual Assistant with a clinical background in cardiology or cardiovascular care to support a U.S.-based cardiac practice. This role is ideal for a nurse or physician who understands cardiac patient workflows and can professionally support patient communication, care coordination, and clinical documentation in a remote setting.

  • Reinforce cardiac care instructions (post-procedure care, medication reminders, lifestyle guidance as directed)
  • Coordinate follow-ups, testing schedules, and specialist referrals

Care Coordination & Documentation

  • Manage patient intake and onboarding for cardiac services
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EMR/EHR systems
  • Assist with care plans under physician or licensed provider supervision
  • Track cardiac monitoring schedules, follow-up appointments, and outcomes

Clinical & Administrative Support

  • Schedule clinic visits, telehealth appointments, and diagnostic procedures
  • Support insurance authorization and billing documentation as needed
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
  • Maintain detailed records of patient communications and care activities

Qualifications

Required

  • Clinical background as a Nurse or Physician
  • Direct experience in cardiology or cardiovascular care (hospital, clinic, cardiac rehab, ICU/CCU, or outpatient cardiology)
  • Strong understanding of cardiac terminology, workflows, and patient care standards
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Experience using EMR/EHR systems
  • High attention to detail and strong patient communication skills

Preferred

  • Active or prior U.S. clinical license (RN, LPN, MD, DO, or equivalent)
  • Experience in telehealth, care coordination, or remote patient monitoring
  • Familiarity with cardiac diagnostics (EKG, echo, stress tests, Holter monitoring, etc.)
  • Experience with insurance coordination or prior authorizations

Requirements

  • Reliable high-speed internet and secure remote workspace
  • Personal smartphone and computer
  • Ability to work U.S. business hours
  • Strong commitment to patient confidentiality and clinical excellence

Why Join Us

  • Fully remote clinical support role
  • Opportunity to apply cardiac expertise outside of bedside care
  • Meaningful work supporting cardiac patients and care teams
  • Long-term placement with a specialized medical practice
