This position is primarily responsible for the design, development, and deployment of Business Dashboards and other reporting requirements which are used by management to monitor, evaluate, and forecast business volume and profitability performance driving the overall business analytics requirements of Mass Retail Segment, to enable data-driven market, financial, portfolio, and customer behavior analysis for strategy formulation in line with bank’s business growth objectives.
Responsibilities
Development of data-driven insights on acquisition and marketing programs under the Segment/Group.
Leverage internal and/or external data sources to analyze and synthesize industry and customer trends and highlight opportunities to improve brand equity, customer growth, and perceptions;
Perform studies to answer critical business questions and generate insights into customer attitudes, behaviours, and business performance;
Assist with champion/challenger design and analyses aimed at improving customer acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization.
Understand program/campaign initiatives and provide data and/or analysis for parameter validation or potential enhancements.
Development, maintenance, and enhancements of Business dashboards and other Business MIS tools to align with business specifications.
Ensure data integrity, timely and accurate production of regular and adhoc business MIS requested by Unsecured Lending, Cards, and BanKo business teams to help monitor, evaluate, and forecast business volume and profitability performance.
Supervise the development of business MIS reports as required by business heads and business specialists and that all programs are properly documented to ensure consistency on MIS preparation.
Review and validate programs (ie, SAS, Excel, Approach or any other similar software) of business MIS analysts to ensure that MIS reporting conforms to the requirements of the respective business owners or business specialists.
Initiate enhancement of MIS framework and implement process improvement to operationalize existing MIS Dashboard and tactical reports deployment.
Collaborate with Data Management on data requirements needed in generating MIS and analytical tools.
Coaches/mentors Business MIS analysts in the performance of and issues affecting their functions and responsibilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or Engineering
At least 3 years of credit risk management, business analytics, data science/analytics or related disciplines in a consumer lending industry
Proficient in data/analytical tools, e.g., SAS, Tableau, etc.
