Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to work across multiple business and technology initiatives. This role plays a key part in shaping solutions that align with organisational goals and will help form the foundation of a growing business analysis function.

About The Role

As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with both business and IT stakeholders to translate complex needs into clear, actionable requirements. You will support solution design and delivery, contribute to quality outcomes and help establish standards that support a high‑performing BA practice over time.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with business and technology stakeholders to elicit, document and refine requirements
• Lead or support workshops, sprint planning and backlog refinement sessions
• Analyse and document current state and future state business processes
• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications
• Support solution design in collaboration with developers, architects, testers and product teams
• Identify risks, dependencies and opportunities for improvement across systems and workflows
• Support UAT planning, coordination and defect triage
• Maintain accurate, traceable documentation across the delivery lifecycle
• Contribute to the development and uplift of business analysis standards and practices
• Support knowledge sharing and onboarding of future team members
• Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures
  
  

• Deliver clear, actionable requirements that support business and technology outcomes
• Facilitate effective communication between business and technical stakeholders
• Support testing and validation to ensure fit‑for‑purpose solutions
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tools and team practices
• Help establish and strengthen business analysis capability across the organisation
  
  

• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in a mid to senior capacity
• Experience working in complex or regulated environments such as financial services, government or utilities
• Experience with data models, APIs, system integrations and architectural dependencies
• Strong stakeholder engagement, process mapping and documentation skills
• Familiarity with Agile and hybrid delivery frameworks
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage both business and technical audiences
• Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence or Azure DevOps
