Job Objective

Supports Brand Leader in the development, execution and evaluation of brand communication and channel marketing plan; In charge of product pricing, placement and promotion of a particular range of products. Work closely with members of the sales and marketing teams ensuring that the sales team is fully conversant with the brand.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop sales and marketing objectives for specific product lines including sales volume and profit forecasts
  • Manage distribution, pricing strategies and handle profitability of assigned product line
  • Assist in the development of marketing and promotional programs to create demand for a particular product range and ensure the execution of these programs
  • Make recommendations based on the analysis of market trends and interpretation of market research data
  • Measure and monitor competitors’ activities, discounting schemes and perform other market intelligence work to better understand competition and gather vital information needed for strategic planning
  • Coordinate with other departments and suppliers regarding product management, new products, purchasing, product complaints, inventory build-up and monitoring
  • Participate in planning and discussion with the Sales Team
  • Conduct client presentations for assigned product lines
  • Prepares and submits regular reports on market and sales performance, opportunities and risks regarding details on his assigned product lines
  • Performs other duties as apparent or assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or other related areas
  • At least 5 years work experience in Brand or Product Management
  • Experience in managing bathroom fixtures or other building materials are highly preferred
  • Background in the construction industry, electronics or consumer durables is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Must demonstrate excellent technical selling skills, business acumen and independent judgment
  • Must demonstrate the ability to gather and analyze in a detailed and systematic manner, sales information that will help develop solutions for identified problems and opportunities
  • Must have the ability to multi-task
  • Effective oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
