Internal Job Title: Sales Ledger Assistant

Work setup: We operate in a hybrid work environment, and we encourage applicants who are open to working in the office two days a week to apply.

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 3PM to 11PM Manila time, overlaps with UK operating hours

Employment type: Permanent

Location: Makati City, Metro Manila

Pay range: Php 24,000 to Php 30,000

Sales Ledger Assistant needed to support the Billing Team to maximise revenue, through accurate and timely billing practices.

What will you do as a Billing Associate?

Reporting to the Revenue Billing Supervisor, your accountabilities will include:

  • Manage a high volume of email requests, accurately assessing whether enquiries relate to Customer Master Data (CMD) or non-CMD activities, and taking appropriate action by processing, advising, or redirecting as needed.
  • Review and validate all incoming Customer Master Data requests, applying specific processes and criteria tailored to different business models.
  • Work across multiple systems to input, validate, and maintain Customer Master Data, ensuring consistency and data integrity.
  • Exercise judgement on non-standard requests by asking the right questions, escalating where needed, and building subject matter expertise to communicate complex processes and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
  • Contribute to accurate and timely billing, month-end billing activities, process improvements, and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs).

You are an experienced billing professional with a strong track record in data analysis or interpretation, and working across multiple business streams within a global environment. You bring an analytical and inquisitive mindset, applying sound judgement to both standard and non-standard scenarios rather than simply following processes. Confident and detail-oriented, you build effective relationships with stakeholders and communicate clearly across different levels and business areas. You thrive in a fast-paced, varied role where no two days are the same, demonstrating a flexible, “can do” attitude and a willingness to take ownership. As a collaborative team player, you lead by example and are motivated to develop into a subject matter expert for Customer Master Data.

Essential:

  • Experience working in a sales ledger or billing environment, including invoice processing and/or customer data management.
  • Experience in Data management, interpretation and analysis
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve complex queries
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple business areas. Communicate clearly and effectively with diverse audience.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
  • Solid Excel skills and strong numeracy capability.

Desirable:

  • Experience using SAP or similar financial systems.
  • Intermediate Excel skills (e.g. PivotTables, lookups).
  • Experience working in a global or multi-business unit environment
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and assess data in non-standard scenarios, applying sound judgement and critical thinking to determine the correct course of action
