👋What are our wishes?

Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in IT, with a strong focus on test automation and API testing.

Proven programming proficiency in Python along with hands-on experience using:

• Selenium and Appium
• Using any of these: C#, Java or Python
• API testing frameworks and tools like Postman, Newman, and requests
• Data validation libraries such as jsonschema
• Data model libraries such as rdflib and jsonld (or equivalent) is only nice to have
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
• Ability to function in a client-driven consulting role, managing multitasking projects and delivering high-quality solutions.
  
  

Additional Desirable Skills

• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Exposure to IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, or app development initiatives.
  
  

💼How can you contribute to the team?

Develop and maintain automation frameworks to verify software quality.

API Testing Focus

• Build comprehensive test suites for RESTful APIs, leveraging tools such as Postman and Newman.
• Utilize Python libraries like requests and jsonschema for API validation.

Data Model Validation is ONLY NICE TO HAVE:

• Test and validate data models that incorporate RDF and JSON Linked Documents.
• Employ libraries such as rdflib and jsonld to ensure data consistency across our API and data platforms.

Cloud Integration:

• Test AWS Lambda functions and verify proper integration with backend systems.
• Work in collaboration with cloud architects to support and validate continuous deployment pipelines.

Technical Documentation and Specification Interpretation:

• Read, analyze, and implement testing plans based on technical specifications provided on GitHub.
• Document test cases, report issues, and work closely with development teams to refine system requirements.

Consultancy and Mentorship:

• Serve as a subject matter expert for test automation strategies and API testing best practices.
• Guide clients and internal teams in process improvements and proactive bug resolution methodologies.
• Continuous Quality Improvement:
• Drive best-in-class quality assurance practices, ensuring that risk management and process optimizations are at the forefront of every project.
