general Overview

The Associate Engagement Planner is responsible for the execution, activation, and management of all tactical plans developed by the Engagement Strategy team. This position works closely with the broader Engagement Planning team to ensure that execution aligns with approved tactical plan, as well as the Buying Services Department (BSD) at Compas to ensure flawless execution.

primary Accountabilities

  • Introductory knowledge of how media influences and engages audiences.
  • Developing competency in all CMI planning tools, including Empower, MAP, and MediaVitals
  • Assist in the development tactical plans for Display, Custom Digital Programs, Email, Print, POC, and Conferences.
  • Partner will Compas BSD on all contract execution for Display, Custom Digital Programs, Email, Print, POC, and Conferences.
  • Assist in the creation production grids and gather specs for creative agencies.
  • Meet with supplier-partners to stay current on existing/emerging media technologies.
  • Brand specific level work

SUCCESS FACTORS

  • Implement and deliver upon CMI and Compas processes and best practices for clients.
  • Ensure media performance delivers to brand goals and benchmarks. Delivers execution excellence across all media efforts for assigned brand.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school degree required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Adept at compiling, analyzing, and communicating data.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Able to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Capable of ensuring day-to-day operations are built to support high-level strategy to achieve peak performance. 

Physical, Travel And Other Job Specific Requirements



  • Ability to work flexible hours including outside of normal business hours, as needed.
  • Ability to travel as needed to other company or partner offices for meetings and work responsibilities.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects, as needed to complete assigned responsibilities.
  • Ability to complete timesheets daily.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
