Overview
MSL Philippines, the official PR agency of the Publicis Groupe, seeks a highly motivated and experienced Associate Account Director (AAD) who will play an essential role in managing Corporate and Integrated PR for a wide range of local and international clients. The AAD will help to shape and execute strategic and creative communications that bolster brand reputation, enhance stakeholder engagement, and deliver measurable results.
The successful candidate is expected to have substantial industry experience, a professional understanding of media relations and KOL engagements, and a willingness to engage with both corporate communications and integrated PR initiatives. He or she will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver creative, impactful campaigns that align with our clients business objectives.
Responsibilities
Corporate Communications Management: Co-develop and implement strategic communications plans that align with clients’ corporate goals, including crisis communication, stakeholder management, and reputation enhancement initiatives.
Integrated PR Campaign Execution: Drive integrated campaigns that combine media relations, digital marketing, social media, and influencer partnerships to build and maintain brand awareness and visibility.
Media Relations and Outreach: Cultivate strong relationships with key publishers, nationwide journalists, and influencers (KOLs, bloggers, etc.). As needed, help to pitch stories and secure high-impact media placements in print, digital, and broadcast media.
Content Creation and Strategy: Help to deliver the creation of compelling content, including press releases, media advisories, speeches, executive messaging, and social media copy (as needed; with the proper support). Ensure messaging is aligned with client goals and resonates with target audiences.
Client Relationship Management: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring regular communication, understanding their needs, and managing expectations. Provide daily strategic counsel on PR initiatives, industry trends, and communication strategies.
Campaign Performance Analysis: Help to measure and analyze the effectiveness of PR campaigns guided by KPIs, prepare reports, and make sound, data-driven recommendations to optimize future efforts.
Team Leadership and Mentorship: Together with the leads, provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment with a great workplace culture.
Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of PR experience, ideally with a solid background in both Corporate and Integrated PR, honed via an agency setting.
Track record of handling a wide range of clients and successfully executing PR campaigns.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent media relations skills with a deep understanding of the media landscape.
Ability to think strategically and provide innovative PR solutions.
Proficiency in social media and digital PR tools.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Education:
A degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Personal Qualities:
A proactive self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a team.
A creative thinker with a passion for public relations and media engagement.
Strong attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
