π What are our wishes?
A bachelorβs degree in computer science or IT
A minimum of 3 years of experience as an application developer
A minimum of 3 years of experience working in the banking sector, preferably in the area of Trade Finance
Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, and other IT service management and software development frameworks
Experience in creating custom applications using Visual Basic Applications on SQL Server and Microsoft Access
Experience in creating custom reports for enterprise systems using Power BI and other similar reporting BI tools
Deep understanding of RDBMS concepts and SQL programming and techniques.
A meticulous approach to work, with a strong aptitude for numbers and data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
πΌ How can you contribute to the team?
The Application Developer holds a key position within the IT department. This role is charged with the vital task of maintaining and enhancing applications using Visual Basic Applications, primarily MS Access and SQL Server. This involves close coordination with the BA and QA teams to provide system improvements and bug fixes to the existing TFPMS Application ensuring delivery is both timely and of high quality. Additionally, this role involves close monitoring of production support ensuring the system meets business needs for daily operations, business processes, analysis, and management reporting
Scope Of Work/Responsibilities
Coding and development: write high-quality source code to program complete applications following best practices and coding principles with proper source control management and documentation.
Design and prototyping: Create prototypes based on requirement specifications and design a user interface to ensure seamless user experience.
Testing and Debugging: Perform comprehensive unit to ensure the application aligns with the requirements with traceability on test artifacts and results. Debug and troubleshoot issues to improve performance.
Deployment and maintenance: Adhere to clients Change Advisory Board (CAB) standards in ensuring high-quality releases with complete documentation, artifacts, and release/rollback plans available.
Incident Management: Assist in resolving production incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and propose solutions to prevent recurrence.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure alignment and understanding of goals.
Business Understanding: Develop a comprehensive understanding of business needs and effectively communicate these to the product owner and stakeholders
Solution Alignment: Ensure implemented solutions align with business objectives, meet quality standards, and adhere to security policies.
Process Advocacy: Advocate for process changes to enhance business and IT activities and contribute to the design of the future state of new products.
Work Arrangement
Willing to work remotely with occasional reporting to client headquarters in Ortigas if necessary
Work Schedule is from 9:00AM β 6:00PM Manila Time.
