AGILE BUSINESS ANALYST

The Agile Business Analyst facilitates communication between business stakeholders and Agile development teams. This role elicits, analyzes, and documents business requirements, collaborates across functions, and ensures the delivery of valuable solutions aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Partners with business stakeholders to understand needs, goals, and desired outcomes
• Conducts interviews, workshops, and meetings to elicit and clarify requirements
• Documents requirements using user stories, use cases, process flows, and other techniques
• Analyzes existing business processes and customer experiences; recommend enhancements
• Collaborates with product owners, scrum masters, and development teams to plan and prioritize backlog items
• Ensures shared understanding of requirements, provide clarifications, and resolve issues
• Supports release and sprint planning by ensuring requirements are well-defined and prioritized
• Facilitates workshops and meetings to validate requirements, gather feedback, and resolve conflicts
• Acts as liaison between stakeholders and development teams to maintain alignment
• Keeps stakeholders informed of project progress, risks, and dependencies
• Collaborates with development teams during sprint execution; prepare test cases and perform UAT to confirm solutions meet acceptance criteria
• Supports defect resolution during testing and production phases
• Manages assigned projects and provide application management support as needed
  
  

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Accounting, or related field
• Proven experience as a Solutions Analyst, Business Analyst, or Agile Business Analyst in an Agile environment
• Strong understanding and practical application of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Proficiency with Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence
