About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Analyst. This role will be based in 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines.

  • Monthly and/or Quarterly Accounts Reconciliation of Trade Receivables, Doubtful, Miscellaneous Accounts Receivables and other related accounts such as collaterals (e.g. cash bond/cash deposits, letter of credits), forex revaluation, etc.
  • Monthly correction of fallouts/Data Quality (DQ) in Global AR Dashboard (GAD), if any. Generation of Credit Metrics Report from GAD to be used for Credit Board Meetings, among others.
  • Monthly month-end closing (MEC) activities in SAP
  • Monthly Monitoring of Open Sales Orders, Deliveries, Billings and FI not released to accounting
  • Monthly or Ad-hoc clearing of Unapplied Credits (UACs)
  • Quarterly activities related to cash bond/cash pledge agreement maintenance:
    • Quarterly Update of currency table for Cash Bond Interest expense where applicable, such as for Chevron Philippines Inc.
    • Quarterly validation of Computed Interest per Treasury Modules vs Credit’s report on list of customers with cash bond/cash pledge agreement
    • Quarterly reclassification of Cash Bond Interest Expense to customer account
    • Refund of Cash Bond and overpayments, if any
    • Preparation of ad-hoc reports where needed, e.g. customer aging reports
    • Support for Annual Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) activity
    • Support any audit confirmation activities
    • Coordination with Local Finance and Business Units on any unusual issues related to accounts being handled
    • As back-up of other Receivables Analysts

    Required Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

    • Bachelors degree in accounting
    • Minimum of 4 years overall work experience.
    • Good oral and written communication skills
    • Strong analytical, teamwork and customer engagement skills
    • Must have the propensity to work in a proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused environment

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in SAP/JDE
    • General Accounting, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable process exposure preferred.
