As a Senior Video Editor, you will be the storyteller responsible for transforming raw footage into high-impact visual content. You will manage the entire post-production workflow, from initial assembly and sound design to basic color grading and motion graphics. We are looking for a creative powerhouse who can make creative decisions, manage tight deadlines, and elevate our brands aesthetic.

• High level of video editing skills
• Mid-high level motion graphics and animation skills
• Mid-high level colour grading
• Basic-mid level sound design
• Editing of client videos within the specified turnaround time (SLA)
• Editing of internal company content including social, sales, training videos, etc
• Liaising with clients on matters referring to the production of Projects
• Providing constructive feedback to clients to progress their content quality
• Collaborating with your edit team to share & gain industry knowledge
• Utilising the Adobe Creative Suite of tools to achieve the above
• Be willing to work within a shift-work time frame between 0700 & 2100 depending on the projects that come in.
  
  

What knowledge and experiential requirements do I need to be successful?

• Taking a clients brief and bringing it to life through video
• Extensive knowledge of Premiere Pro
• Mid-high level knowledge of After Effects
• General knowledge across the Adobe CC Suite
• Time management of your own queue of projects/tasks
• Consulting with clients and Team Lead for amendments and approvals
• Maintaining accurate and up to date Shootsta brand knowledge
• Collaboration with a global team of editors to share ideas and workloads

Work Schedule: M to F 7am to 4pm

Work Location: Hybrid at Eastwood, QC (2x per week onsite)
