Your Role

As a Security Operations Analyst, you will:

• Monitor and investigate email phishing alerts, Business Email Compromise incidents, SIEM, and endpoint alerts, escalating potential security threats as needed.
• Lead security incident investigations, including evidence collection, root cause analysis, and impact assessments.
• Develop and execute incident response playbooks to minimize response time and business disruption.
• Perform proactive threat hunting to identify security risks and mitigate potential threats before they escalate.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to communicate security findings and support effective incident resolution.
  
  

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• 3+ years of experience in IT Security Operations, preferably within a multi-client or MSP environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Office 365 and Azure.
• Experience with Business Email Filter platforms such as Barracuda and Proofpoint.
• Strong experience with SIEM, EDR, and MDR security tools.
• Strong understanding of incident response frameworks and digital forensics.
  
  

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Familiarity with network security architecture, including network segmentation, VPNs, and secure protocols.
• Experience developing and executing security incident response playbooks.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills, including root cause and impact analysis.
• Ability to communicate technical security findings effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Scripting or automation experience for security response processes is a plus.
