The Portfolio Officer is responsible for driving the BPI Core mass market segment strategy – develop marketing and business strategies and identification of opportunities for initiating and implementing relevant programs to deepen client’s relationship and increase client’s base, improve retention, increase funds level and profitability of the Segment.
Responsibilities
Creates presentations, conducts regular reviews and reports on analytical findings and segment performance-- can pull together and interpret varied data and sources to create a seamless story to inform better decision making and support segment deliverables (sourcing data from FCU, Market Research, Data Science, CIA, and BDW)
Coordinates with different data sources such as CIA, Data Science, and Market Research to do market scans and identify opportunities to grow the segment
Assists the Growth & Usage Segment Head on research and analysis of relevant information about the Segment and the internal and external factors that affect their behavior and preference
Ensures understanding of the developments in the industry, consumer banking trends, based on observations, bank/market/industry studies/researches to identify opportunities and/or threats that will contribute to increasing the Bank’s market share in terms of client count, total funds/loans relationship and profitability
Initiates program implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of results. Ensures execution of specific programs to help achieve Segment’s objectives on retention, up/cross-selling, volume growth, and profitability and monitors the same for evaluating program performance and effectiveness
Leads the collaboration with internal and external partners to develop and deliver solutions relevant to the needs of the identified target clients. Ensures proper and timely communication to all stakeholders to avoid delays. Manages and addresses issues arising from implemented programs and provide regular updates to all stakeholders
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree graduate in Business Management/ Economics/ Marketing or related courses
At least 2-3 years in Work Experience in retail banking or any industry dealing with known customers
Background in data analytics management ideally from industries such as financial products/services, retail, or fast-moving consumer goods, preferably in the areas of data/ business analytics or business development
Proficient in Business/ Data Analytics, exposure to Market Research, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and loyalty
Strong communication skills, articulate and flexible
Exceptional ability to influence decisions and stakeholder management
