The Investor Relations Officer is primarily responsible for communicating to local and foreign investors/shareholders, credit rating agencies, financial and equity analysts, and select regulatory agencies the strength of the Bank in terms of financial and operating performance, strategic imperatives, achievements, and new initiatives, with the end objective of further improving its credit rating, and the value of its share price.
In addition, this position is also responsible for providing assistance in the preparation of timely, accurate, and meaningful investor relations-related reports and materials required for investor and management decision making, respectively.
Responsibilities
Investor Relations Materials and Engagement: Preparation of materials and analysis for IR activities; IR communication requirements; website maintenance, correspondence with peer banks.
Regulatory and Industry Reports: Preparation and submission of regulatory disclosures to SEC, BSP, PSE, PDEX, & SGX, and other regulators; attending to regulator queries; preparation of competitive reports and analysis, preparation and analysis of analyst reports for senior management.
Annual Report & ASM: Assist / support officer for the annual stockholders' meeting as part of the Ayala Group; prepare ASM deck; lead data gathering for the annual/integrated report, update of write-ups, and other requirements.
Strategic Projects: Preparation of requirements/presentation for annual credit rating reviews; preparation of due diligence requirements (i.e., OC, DDQ, FAQs, Deck, etc.) and attend to any queries/provide data in relation to product issuances; ad hoc studies as requested by senior management.
Subsidiary Management: Monitor status of inactive subsidiaries subject for dissolution/management's decision; part of working group that coordinates and prepares the requirements for dissolution
Compliance & Admin: ORM, RMO, Compliance, Audit-related tasks; Corporate giveaways; Training; prepare department budget and expense payments.
Database Enhancement: Continuous improvement of databases containing current and accurate internal, industry, peer banks, and other relevant investor relations data
Integrate sustainability and customer obsession in performing Investor Relations responsibilities
Qualifications
At least 1 year experience in the Financial Services Industry, Banking or other relevant/similar role/ industry
Has a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Banking, Economics or Business-related course
Knowledgeable in Basic accounting regulations BSP, SEC, BIR regulations, Corporate Finance skills, Basic organizational compliance and administrative policies and procedures
Experienced in Financial spreadsheets/ modeling/ simulations/ forecasting
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
Background in financial analysis, process improvements,
Strong time management with basic operational and administrative skills
