Your Role

As a Data Solutions Engineer, you will:

Support and maintain existing customer implementations, ensuring stability and performance of deployed solutions.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions.

Build and maintain databases, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.

Develop and implement data quality checks, monitoring processes, and troubleshooting frameworks to resolve data-related issues efficiently.

Assist customers in debugging ETL issues, particularly for the Australasia region, ensuring timely resolution and high service quality.

Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to define data requirements, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.

Write and maintain automation scripts, primarily using Python, to streamline processes and operational workflows.

Apply data modeling and data warehousing best practices to support reporting and analytics initiatives.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in database management, ETL, and cloud-based data platforms.

Work cross-functionally to deliver exceptional customer experience and continuously improve service delivery.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (MySQL preferred)

Solid scripting experience, preferably in Python

Hands-on experience in designing and maintaining ETL processes and data integration solutions

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with high attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills/expertise

Experience in database design, optimization, and performance tuning

Understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) integration experience

Experience in CPG or food manufacturing environments
