Position description: The Credit Manager is primarily responsible in assisting the Credit Operations Department Head in maintaining a healthy portfolio for both credit cards and personal loans through sound verification, underwriting and management of direct reports while adhering to the approved credit policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements. The position requires close monitoring of their direct reports to ensure productivity, quality, RAM and Delinquency goals are met, as well as approving more complex credit applications.

Primary Responsibilities

• 1. Service Delivery Management – ensures that credit initiation and underwriting meet the service level targets 2. Booking of Quality Accounts – assures that underwritten accounts are within the PDO and RAM benchmarks 3. Productivity – monitors individual productivity of direct reports 4. Audit and Compliance – ensures that credit practices are within the standards of internal and external regulations 5. Special Projects – spearheads, proposes, and supports credit projects and initiatives to improve turn-around time and reduce operational costs 6. Operations Support – manages the team in handling all credit-related administrative functions such as quality assurance, MIS, training and attends to all tasks assigned to the unit by the Department Head
