Overall Purpose of The Job

• The Business Performance Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and improving the overall business performance by interpreting data, identifying trends, and delivering actionable insights. The role supports decision-making by providing performance dashboards, KPIs, and reports that help departments align with strategic objectives.
  
  

Key Responsibilities And Tasks

• Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Develop and maintain performance dashboards, scorecards, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Write SQL queries and work with data warehouses.
• Conduct variance, root cause analysis when required.
• Gather and document detailed reporting requirements.
• Communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to assess business performance and provide analytical support.
• Create presentations for senior management to support strategic planning and forecasting.
• Monitor business targets and track progress against goals on a regular basis.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven recommendations.
• Support performance / process improvement initiatives or projects across departments.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and support implementation activities.

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in business analysis, performance analytics, or a related role.
• Advance in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical, technical problem-solving and automation capabilities.
• Understanding of data modelling.
• SQL – For querying databases and extracting performance data.
• Data Visualization – Presenting insights clearly to various stakeholders.
• Experience in Project Management Tools (e.g., Asana, Microsoft DevOps, Jira).
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Desirable

• Experience in process improvement (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
• Understanding of statistics and methodologies.
• Data wrangling and ETL experience.
