Role Description:

The role applies technical engineering skills in a BIM environment for large projects, leading teams in model and drawing production while coordinating with managers and discipline leads. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements, managing coordination and clash resolution, supporting BIM Execution Plans, and assisting in multi‑discipline BIM delivery.

Role Accountabilities:

• Communicate regularly with the BIM Manager and provide project status reports.
• Delegate workload to BIM modellers across disciplines.
• Mentor BIM modellers, assist with queries, and provide advanced BIM training.
• Coordinate clash detection and resolution activities.
• Create federated models from different disciplines for BIM coordination.
• Support engineers with drawing standards and BIM software usage.
• Ensure models are up to date and correctly stored in the collaborative system.
• Oversee project workflows, escalate issues, and ensure adherence to BIM Execution Plans and standards.
• Perform QA/QC on drawings before final review by the BIM Manager.
• Ensure compliance with BIM Standards, BIM Execution Plan, and ISO 19650 requirements.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent, with BIM-related technical certification.
• At least 8 years of experience using BIM software on multi-discipline projects, preferably in a design consulting firm.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Overseas project experience and ability to quickly adapt to diverse drawing standards.
• Strong systematic and methodological approach with proven ability to manage complex BIM projects.
