Job Description

Talent Experience Coordinator

The Talent Experience Coordinator plays a key role in delivering a seamless, candidate-first experience for Pearson candidates, Talent Partners, Hiring Managers, and internal stakeholders. In a fast-paced, high-volume environment, this individual brings strong judgment, responsiveness, and a partnership mindset to every interaction—helping coordinate interviews, support offers and onboarding, maintain data accuracy, and strengthen recruiting operations. This role is ideal for someone who is energized by creating meaningful experiences, building strong relationships across teams and time zones, and identifying opportunities to improve processes in thoughtful and efficient ways. The Talent Experience Coordinator also brings a continuous improvement mindset, leveraging current technology and AI capabilities where appropriate to enhance efficiency, elevate the candidate experience, and support business outcomes. As a visible ambassador of Pearson’s values, this individual leads with collaboration, accountability, and care, while helping the team deliver consistent, high-quality results. The Talent Experience Coordinator reports to the Talent Experience Team Lead.

  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with team members, hiring managers, and partners across functions and time zones
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and help drive thoughtful, efficient enhancements
  • Apply best practices in Pearson’s ATS and help ensure recruiting data remains accurate, complete, and up to date
  • Contribute to team priorities and special projects that strengthen recruiting operations and the overall talent experience.

What You’ll Need:

  • Have at least 2 years of experience in global recruitment, onboarding, or HR generalist roles
  • Have exposure to EMEA processes (preferred)
  • Demonstrate strong collaboration and clear communication
  • Is confident in managing and enhancing stakeholder experience
  • Show accountability, ownership, and follow‑through
  • Have experience with or exposure to automation initiatives (as SME or tester)
  • Are experience‑focused, solution‑oriented, and proactive
  • Bring a positive, resilient, and “can‑do” mindset
  • Highly organized, proactive, and efficient, with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and balancing competing priorities with sound judgment and adaptability
  • Demonstrated experience supporting high-volume, complex recruiting coordination with accuracy, responsiveness, and a candidate-first mindset
  • Ideally, this individual is already succeeding in a similar role, preferably within an organization that leverages AI to strengthen recruiting operations and elevate the candidate experience
  • Consistent track record of strong performance, accountability, and follow-through
  • Good stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering directly with hiring teams and building strong, credible relationships across functions and levels
  • Agile and quick to learn, with the ability to absorb new information, adapt to change, and apply new tools or processes effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively across multiple requests
  • Confidence learning new technologies quickly and sharing that knowledge with others; experience in an AI-enabled environment that enhances recruiting operations and candidate experience is strongly preferred
