Video Editor Manila

We currently have offices and patients in Sydney and London, and are now expanding our team to Manila.

We’re searching for our next Video Editor to join our creative team, which is comprised of over 30 top-talent from some of the best advertising and creative agencies in the world. All of our brands positively impact people’s health and wellbeing, so you can feel good about the work you create.

As the Video Editor, your mission is to maximise the usage of our owned video assets and bring to life the story of our digital healthcare brands. Youll never be boxed in by a client brief for a brand youre not familiar with. Instead, youll be creating content for our health and wellness brands that will be seen by millions of Australians.

About the role (What youll be doing)

• Work across multiple different brands and projects, evolving your style for each.
• Do post production work such as live action editing, visual effects, colour grading, sound design and basic animation.
• Work on a wide variety of content for a range of brands including social content, longer-form Youtube content & Television Commercial quality production.
• Maximise and repurpose raw rushes in our content library to create new edits, creative assets, cutdowns and reformatted versions.
• Champion efficient, organised ingesting of footage and filing for raw assets and exports.
• Support the successful delivery of video content from start to finish.
• Create engaging content using video clips recorded by our customers and patients.
• Work with producers to accurately scope video projects and deliver optimised assets for the intended final channel.
• Communicate your thinking through storyboards and treatment decks.
• Stay up to date with the latest in tooling and workflow processes in the video editing world.

About You (Who you are)

Essentials:

• A demo reel with your best work.
• 4+ years experience working as a a video editor.
• Thorough knowledge of After Effects, Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve.
• Colour grading and sound design experience and skills.
• Be able to construct a strong narrative / story-edit.
• Able to work independently to achieve high quality results every time.
• Solid understanding of creative best practices and trends for social media and online platforms.
• A proven interest in various forms of media, including social media, TV and streaming.
• A high standard of written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of best practices when it comes to workflow and folder structures.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have:

• Experience with feedback tools such as Iconik or Frame.io a bonus.
