Recruitment Specialist Remote Philippines

Remote, Philippines | Part-time, 20 hours a week to start | Contract

Kairos Recruitment is a Melbourne-based recruitment business that hires for Australian startups and scaleups. We work directly with founders, often as their first recruitment partner, across growth, operations, product, tech and people roles. Kairos sits alongside Aussie Founders Club, a community of 2,000+ Australian founders, so our network runs deep across the startup scene.

Were looking for an experienced recruiter in the Philippines to work with Megan, our founder, and run the front end of every search. As we grow, youll help us build a new offshore recruitment service that places VAs and remote talent with Australian startups, and youll lead that process.

What youll do

• Headhunt and source candidates for live Kairos roles on LinkedIn and other channels
• Run first-round phone and video screens, write clear notes, and put your best candidates forward to Megan
• Keep our ATS (Teamtailor) clean and up to date: stages, notes and candidate follow-ups
• Support our Aussie Fractionals board with outreach to founders and fractional operators
• Handle the admin that keeps searches moving, like scheduling, follow-ups and reference checks
• As the offshore service grows, design a repeatable process for it, including skills tests and assessments, and then run and manage it

About you

• Youve worked in recruitment, ideally agency-side, and youve sourced and screened candidates for Australian, US or UK clients
• You can run a process end to end without being chased. You know what a strong shortlist looks like and how to keep candidates warm.
• Youve built or improved a recruitment process before, and you have clear views on how to test candidates properly
• You want to lead. Wed love to hear how youd shape a new service if you owned it.
• Your written and spoken English is excellent, and youre confident on calls with Australian candidates
• Youre organised and comfortable in an ATS (Teamtailor, Workable, Recruitee or similar)
• You can work at least four hours a day in Melbourne business hours (AEST/AEDT)
• You have reliable internet, a quiet space for calls and your own laptop
