Drywall Specialist

Are you an experienced Drywall Specialist with strong U.S. construction experience and a passion for sharing your expertise? SMARTSOURCING USA is seeking a qualified Drywall Specialist to support the training and development of aspiring drywall estimators and construction professionals.

This is a contractor role for someone who can independently deliver training, provide mentorship, and contribute subject matter expertise in drywall systems, installation, and estimating practices.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Drywall Estimator on U.S.-based commercial and/or residential construction projects.
• Strong experience working on U.S.-based construction projects, with solid knowledge of U.S. standards, terminology, and workflows.
• Strong understanding of drywall systems, materials, installation methods, finishing, estimating principles, takeoffs, and project coordination.
• Knowledge of U.S. drywall codes, specifications, and manufacturer requirements.
• Familiarity with estimating software, digital takeoff tools, and blueprint reading.
• Prior experience in a training, mentoring, coaching, or team lead capacity within the drywall or construction industry.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into organized, practical, and easy-to-follow training materials.
• Experience creating presentations, instructional videos, exercises, assessments, answer keys, and other learning resources.
• Ability to engage professionally with students and provide patient, timely, and constructive guidance.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently, manage course-development deliverables, and meet agreed deadlines in a remote contractor setup.
• Reliable computer, internet connection, microphone, and camera suitable for recording course content.
