Job Description

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

The client is an Australian mortgage broking business based in NSW, helping clients secure suitable lending solutions across home loans, refinancing, property investment and business finance.

The business works with multiple lenders to provide tailored options and supports clients throughout the lending process, from assessing their needs and comparing products through to application and settlement.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are looking for an experienced Credit Analyst / Parabroker who can independently manage the full setup and preparation of mortgage applications from supporting documentation through to lodgement.

The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AFG BrokerEngine, FLEX, ApplyOnline and Quickli, along with a solid understanding of Australian residential lending, income calculations, servicing, lender requirements, compliance and first home buyer schemes.

This role requires someone with excellent attention to detail, strong English communication skills, the ability to work confidently with numbers, and the ability to adapt quickly as processes and procedures evolve.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage end-to-end mortgage application preparation, from organising supporting documents through to lodgement, including BrokerEngine and ApplyOnline, requirements and objectives, product/lender selection, and identifying outstanding client requirements.
  • Assess PAYG and self-employed income, including employment type, deductions, HELP repayments, YTD earnings, base/non-base income, overtime, commissions, bonuses, tax returns and NOAs.
  • Complete Quickli servicing assessments and accurately calculate LVR, LMI, deposits and overall servicing requirements.
  • Review lender policies and servicing options, including alternative self-employed income policies and First Home Buyer schemes and benefits.
  • Order property valuations and determine appropriate valuation requirements based on LVR and lender criteria.
  • Manage interest rate reviews and lender pricing requests.
  • Assess living expenses using bank statement platforms, including Frollo Open Banking.
  • Ensure applications meet lender and compliance requirements, including required supporting documentation, while maintaining high file quality and minimising MIRs.
  • Use BrokerEngine, FLEX, Quickli, ApplyOnline and digital signing platforms to manage and progress applications efficiently.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with brokers, clients and stakeholders via phone, email and WhatsApp.
  • Adapt to evolving processes and procedures and use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini to support efficiency and day-to-day work.
  • Minimum 3 years’ Australian mortgage broking experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AFG BrokerEngine and FLEX — minimal training required.
  • Proficiency in ApplyOnline and Quickli.
  • Solid understanding of Australian residential lending, lender policies, servicing and compliance.
  • Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
  • Fluent English communication skills across reading, writing and speaking.
  • Experience with digital signing platforms such as Adobe Sign, Dropbox Sign or DocuSign.
  • Ability to work independently, learn quickly and adapt to changing processes.
  • Full time / Remote - WFH
  • Australian Business Hours - Dayshift
  • Competitive salary
