Role Description

The Human Resources Staff role is a full-time, on-site position based at the Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu campus in Mandaue. The role involves managing day-to-day HR operations such as maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment and onboarding, and coordinating timekeeping, attendance, and payroll-related documentation. The HR Staff supports performance management processes, organizes staff training and development activities, and helps ensure compliance with school policies, labor regulations, and Jesuit institutional guidelines. This position also responds to employee inquiries, facilitates HR communications, and assists in planning programs that promote staff engagement, well-being, and a positive workplace culture aligned with the school’s values.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in employee records management, HR documentation, and basic HR administration.
• Experience in recruitment support, onboarding processes, and coordination of training and development activities.
• Ability to handle timekeeping, attendance monitoring, and payroll-related data with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Knowledge of labor laws, HR policies, and compliance requirements relevant to educational institutions is an advantage.
• Effective interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills for working with faculty, staff, and school leadership.
• Proficiency in office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, HR information systems) and strong organizational abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
