Automotive Engineer Toyota Mandaue South Cebu

Toyota Motor Philippines is looking for an Automotive Engineer to join our Technical Service Department based in TMPs satellite office located in Toyota Mandaue South, Cebu.

The Automotive Engineer is a member of the Repair Support Section that is responsible for providing technical assistance to Visayas dealer network for hard to diagnose cases.

In this role, you are expected to be a domain expert in data analysis and technical report writing and presentation.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Provide repair support to Visayas dealer network for complex vehicle issues through remote diagnostics or on-site visits.
• Creation of Technical Report for assisted cases and Field Evaluation Report for safety related cases.
• Coordination with Toyota Internal Affiliates regarding Customer Handling and Marketing activities.
• Work jointly with Toyota Regional Affiliates and Dealer Network to enhance repair assistance programs.
• Facilitate serviceability Kaizen request to Regional affiliates as part of market concern improvement.
  
  
  

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelors/College Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering.
• MUST HAVE a basic knowledge in Automotive repair and diagnosis.
• MUST HAVE a valid Philippines Drivers License.
• You can make customers and their needs a primary focus of ones actions; developing and sustaining productive customer relationships.
• You have achieved a satisfactory level of technical and professional skill or knowledge in position-related areas and are keeping up with current developments and trends in areas of expertise.
• You are capable of clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
• You effectively manage your time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently.
• You can maintain stable performance under pressure or opposition (such as time pressure or job ambiguity); handle stress in a manner that is acceptable to others and to the organization.
  
  
  

• Technical report writing skills and presentation
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Has good interpersonal skills
• Proficient in the use of MS Office applications
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, Sharepoint, Office, Forms, Outlook, Presentations)
• Knowledge in SAP application and Vehicle Diagnostic Software is an advantage
