About the Role

If Individual Contributor: Sets own mid-term objectives and performs activities in order to achieve results. Employee has a broad theoretical knowledge and extensive experience within the own job area. Activities require thorough analysis and alignment with others within and outside the job area. Suggests improvement on current processes and coaches/reviews less experienced employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Account Management. Act as the primary contact for a portfolio of existing accounts, fostering long-term relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• New customer and new business  acquisition. Develop and execute strategies to expand the customer base, driving growth and establishing a strong pipeline of potential clients.
• Incremental Growth & Cross-Selling. Identify opportunities for incremental growth within existing accounts by promoting relevant products and services.
• Collaborate with the sales team to maximize revenue through upselling and cross-selling initiatives.
• Customer Support & Coordinate with internal teams to deliver a seamless customer experience and resolve challenges efficiently.
• Market Awareness & Feedback Gathering. Collect feedback from clients and prospects to refine product offerings and service approaches, ensuring alignment with market demand.
• Track and report on account performance metrics, including customer satisfaction, account growth, and new customer acquisition progress.
• Prepare regular updates for internal stakeholders on account status, sales pipelines, and emerging opportunities.

Job Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Chemicals or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in account management and business development from a relevant field/industry, handling chemical products like : Lubricants, water treatment,
• Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Business Development Skills: Strong ability to acquire new customers, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing sales.
• Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Sales Skills: Consultative selling approach with experience in both upselling to existing clients and developing new accounts.
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Analytical Ability: Ability to assess client needs and translate them into actionable strategies.
• Customer Focus: Commitment to customer success and satisfaction.
• Tools: Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
• Driving skills with valid driving licence
• Willingness to travel within Visayas and Mindanao to engage with clients.
