Job Summary

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting the daily warehouse operations by receiving, storing, organizing, and dispatching materials and products efficiently. The role involves operating a forklift to safely move goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring compliance with company safety and operational standards. The Warehouse Assistant may also be assigned to other warehouse locations based on business requirements.

Job Description

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Load, unload, transport, and stack materials using a forklift in accordance with safety procedures.
• Store products and materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or shipment.
• Assist in inventory monitoring, cycle counts, and annual physical inventory.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements and warehouse transactions.
• Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of materials.
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Perform routine forklift inspections and report any equipment defects or maintenance requirements.
• Follow all company policies, warehouse procedures, and occupational safety standards.
• Assist with other warehouse and audit staff related tasks as assigned.
  
  

• At least a Senior High School graduate; vocational or college-level education is an advantage.
• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience is preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator Certification is required.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy materials.
• Basic knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management procedures.
• Willing to be assigned to other warehouse locations as required by business operations.
