Job Title: Test Lead – VisionPLUS

Location: Manila

Employment Type: Full-time

Department: Quality Assurance / Testing

Reports To: Vision Plus Test Lead

Role Overview

The Test Lead will oversee the end-to-end testing lifecycle for VisionPLUS packaged software implementations in banking and financial services. This role requires strong experience in Vision Plus software. This role also needs leadership, deep domain knowledge of card management systems, and the ability to translate high-level business requirements into actionable test strategies. The Test Lead will manage a team of testers, ensure quality delivery, and act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Vision Plus and Functional Expertise

Deep knowledge in VisionPLUS software and its landscape is a must.

Must have testing experience in VisionPLUS.

Must know credit cards management functionality.

Loans knowledge is a plus.

Requirement Analysis & Strategy

Interpret high-level business requirements and translate them into detailed test strategies and plans.

Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and developers to clarify requirements and identify testable components.

Ensure alignment of testing scope with business objectives and regulatory compliance.

Test Planning & Leadership

Define test approach for functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and mentor team members to ensure timely and quality delivery.

Coordinate with infrastructure teams for setup and maintenance of test environments.

Ensure that manual test cases correct addresses the business requirements.

Execution & Quality Assurance

Oversee execution of manual test cases for VisionPLUS modules (CMS, FAS, TRAMS, etc.).

Validate end-to-end card lifecycle processes including issuance, authorization, settlement, billing, and collections.

Drive defect triage meetings and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Stakeholder Management

Communicate test progress, risks, and issues to project managers and business stakeholders.

Provide clear and concise reporting on test coverage, defect metrics, and readiness for production deployment.

Process Improvement

Identify gaps in testing processes and implement best practices for efficiency and quality.

Advocate for automation and continuous integration to accelerate delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience:

6+ years in software testing, with at least 3 years in VisionPLUS.

Proven experience in leading testing teams and managing large-scale banking projects.

Technical Skills:

VisionPLUS modules (CMS, FAS, TRAMS, etc.).

SQL skills for backend validation.

Mainframe navigation, job submission and job status troubleshooting.

Test management tools (JIRA).

Domain Knowledge:

Core Banking knowledge, credit/debit card processing, personal loans.

Soft Skills:

Strong leadership and team management.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
