Test Developer

Role Overview

A hands-on test developer who authors test cases and checks, contributes to the automated suites, prepares reusable test data, and performs the manual, end-to-end and parallel-run testing that automation can't cover including the manual business requirements testing.

Responsibilities

• Author manual and automated test cases (including cases that feed the automation suite).
• Gather and prepare reusable test data with the support team.
• Execute manual system, end-to-end and UI testing.
• Run the parallel run: compare new-vs-legacy outputs and investigate differences.
• Log, retest and verify defects; support cutover / go-live smoke testing.
• Own testing for the final (Platform) deck, which is manual-only.
  
  

• 3+ years functional / system / E2E testing on integration or migration projects
• Strong test-case design and defect management.
• Test-data preparation and parallel-run / reconciliation experience.
• Comfortable across APIs, databases (SQL) and UIs; Agile delivery and JIRA.
• Experience in creating test plan, test cases and test reports
  
  

• Airline / PSS domain exposure.
• Exposure to an automation framework (JUnit / REST-assured / WireMock) or a UI tool (e.g. Playwright).
• Kafka / message-based flows.
