By joining us as a Senior Specialist, Tax, you will be responsible for tax filing and compliance, from preparing tax working files up to reviewing returns to payments, tax account reconciliation, providing audit support, and compiling and chasing WHT certificates. You will perform high-quality tax working files on corporate tax provision, understand country specific tax reporting processes and reconciliation, collaborate with internal and external customers, understand tax processes, and help to identify operational improvements.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Perform accurate and timely withholding tax (WHT) and value-added tax (VAT) compliance in coordination with tax consultants.
• Track and follow through on the filing and payment of WHT and VAT returns to ensure compliance with site locations regulatory deadlines.
• Prepare corporate income tax provision quarterly based on timeline set out by the site partners.
• Conduct return to provision reconciliation annually and prepare needed adjustments to recognize over and under tax accrual.
• Work with tax consultants on the transfer pricing policies of the site being supported.
• Perform tax account reconciliation and analyze transactions to validate accuracy through vouching for source details.
• Collaborate closely and connect with various partners for critical deliverables and required action items.
• Generate reports and perform analysis of accounts to resolve potential misrecording of transactions prior to finalization of tax working files.
• Maintain an audit trail of supporting documents for audit requirements and post-adjusting entries to restate account balances.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or any Accounting-related field, preferably Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification.
• At least 4.5 years of work experience in general accounting, majority of which should be in General Ledger or Tax performing reconciliation, tax compliance, and audit support.
• Solid understanding of internal control and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency in ERP applications, including Oracle and SAP.
