Senior QA Engineer IE IT Services Office-based

Schedule: 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM Manila time

What are we looking for?

Skills Required

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing for web and mobile applications
• Strong manual testing expertise across UI, API, and database layers
• Proven ability to create, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and test documentation
• Solid experience in defect identification, logging, tracking, and retesting using tools like JIRA or similar
• Foundational knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress) with willingness to grow automation skills
• Basic understanding of programming or scripting (Java, Python, or JavaScript) to support automation
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and fast-paced development environments
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams
  
  

What will you do?

• Design, create, maintain, and execute detailed manual test cases for web and mobile applications
• Perform UI, API, and database testing to validate functionality, data integrity, and system behavior
• Identify, document, track, and retest software defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution
• Conduct regression testing to verify fixes, enhancements, and new releases
• Assist in the development, execution, and maintenance of automated test scripts
• Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report findings to the team
• Participate in requirements analysis, sprint planning, and review sessions to ensure test coverage aligns with business needs
• Collaborate with development and product teams to define quality standards and testing strategies
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices
• Stay current with testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to support evolving QA needs
