Senior Cost Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Cost Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in costing, preferably within the Food & Beverage (F&B) or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry. This role will be responsible for analyzing costs, improving financial efficiency, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee cost accounting functions, including inventory valuation, standard costing, and variance analysis
• Analyze production costs, material usage, and operational efficiencies
• Prepare and review cost reports, budgets, and forecasts
• Monitor and control cost structures to ensure profitability targets are met
• Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to optimize cost performance
• Ensure accurate recording of cost data in compliance with accounting standards
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA or equivalent certification is an advantage
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cost accounting
• Proven experience in F&B or FMCG industry is required
• Strong background in costing, inventory management, and financial analysis
• Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
