Senior collections associate

Overview:

Effectively manage debt collections agencies, ensuring efficient and effective collection of outstanding credit card debt. To be able to set clear goals, monitor team performance and implement best practices and strategies to ensure that the delinquency rate is within acceptable standards.

What you will do:

• Ensure timely and effective implementation of strategies by the Debt Collections Agency as approved by the Collections Manager / Senior Lead
• Responsible in handling the monthly billing of the services provided by the Agencies.
• Conducts field visits to assigned Debt Collections Agencies as needed.
• Prepares endorsement file and ensure that accounts follow the guidelines provided by the bank prior endorsement to the DCAs.
• Acts as the point person of the bank for all concerns raised by the Debt Collections Agencies.
• Assists the Collections Team Lead / Manager in maintaining important documents such as SLA, Contracts, reversals processed to ensure seamless operation of function of the Debt Collection Agency.
• Performs escalated calls by the Debt Collections Agencies being handled.

What we are looking for:

• Graduate of any four (4) year degree course
• With at least 1 year of experience in loans and credit card collections in the financial services or banking industry and Debt Collections Agency handling.
• High attention to detail and has an analytical mindset
• Can work in a fast-paced environment
